Lynne qualified as a Solicitor in 1999 and joined us here at Southerns in 2021. She graduated Manchester University with a Law degree and Masters degree in Medical Ethics & Law 1991 – 1996,  LPC Nottingham Law School 1996 – 1997 and began a training contract at Pettys in Ipswich 1997 – 1999.

A highlight within her career would be securing an admission on a Cerebral Palsy claim and securing life changing damages of £11 million.

In her free time, Lynne loves gardening, walking and skiing. She also once attended a Christmas ball at Buckingham palace, met the Queen, downed a pint in one and danced with King Charles!

-Securing an admission on a Cerebral Palsy claim which led to damages of £15 million.

-£3 million for a child with Williams Syndrome whose blood pressure was unmonitored causing blindness and brain damage.

-£1 million for a lady who suffered a stroke after being prescribed inappropriate oral contraceptive despite being a smoker, obese with high blood pressure.

-£1.3 million for a family following the death of a mother due a failure to diagnose skin cancer.

-£1.2 million in a wrongful birth claim

-£6,00000.00 in a fatal accident claim from a regulated drugs trial.

-£6,00000.00 for a client that suffered a stroke following a failure by his GP to recognise and refer him to A&E during TIA.

-£5,00000.00 due to a failure by a trust to diagnose brain cancer leading to terminal illness.
